Finished it...finally!

I've been struggling to finish "The Story that Never Ends" otherwise known as "Fiery Strength" I have spent over 14 months writing this story. It's up to 150,000 words. That's about 600 pages in case you're wondering. I wrote with much determination to finish it yesterday and 12 hours later, I did it!

I've never had such a hard time writing a story before. I have stories I've lost interest in, wanted to burn after I got them started and such. I've never taken so long on one story, even working other stories. Now of course I have to edit it, but that can wait a day or two. I have to cut it down, trim the fat. I'm not sure my publisher would accept it because of the size alone.

Anyway, it's done! Yeah! Kind of left the reader hanging waiting for the next book I hope. "Fiery Strength" is the second of four books dealing with the same characters, but I want each of them to stand on their own not relying on the others. I think I've achieved this and leaving the reader to wonder about the third character as a lead in to the third book. "Castle's Hero"

I'm 50,000 or so words into the rough draft of that story. I'll start that one today by editing what I have then take it through to the conclusion. Hopefully letting the reader find out what happened to Corbin from the Land of Maine. This will lead me into the last one, the grand finally so to speak where everything is revealed and a bad guy who's attempts to ruin the main characters lives is finally uncovered and stopped... or not. LOL

Okay, I've bored myself. LOL Talk to you all tomorrow!
Lori
