It's been a long time!

Good morning all. I haven't written in here in a long time. Sorry about that. Through the holidays life was very hectic. I am back to update this and will be better about it in the future.

I have a long list of stories in different stages of being written.

Here is the list.
Firey Strength: Needs a final run through then it's off to the publisher.
Castle's Hero: 2/3 finished in the third draft, but I've started to edit it too.
Brave Season: 2/3 finished in the first draft.
Careful: Needs rewriting before sending to a publisher. I haven't given up on this one yet. One rejection does not a loser make.
Shaken: Needs rewriting too. I like the story and the villian's identity is a wonderful twist.

Identity: The idea is fully formed in my head, just have to finish some of the above stories before I begin this Young Adult. This one is really for my kids and my students. My own children haven't been able to read the other stories because they aren't for kids. My daughter gets to be first reader on this one and she can't wait. I plan to get to this one in June, when school gets out. Guess I have a lot of work to do to get the other stories done.

Promises: A brand new story about a soldier who gets a call for help from a dead friends wife. Her daughter has been kidnapped. This is as far as I've gotten with this one other than the names. Naran Cote is the heroine. Nick Reid is the hero. Funny how I start with an nigglet of an idea and keep working at it until it's a full length story.

I want to go back and finish A New Beginning too. It languishes at around 30,000 words. I made the mistake of outlining this one. It's the first and last time I will ever do that. I kind of felt that the story had already been told, so I lost interest. I have other books to follow this one. They would share characters but be able to stand on their own without having to read any of the others, like the shifter series above.

Okay I've probably bored you all to tears, so I'll shut up now. Funny writing this all down is helping me to get back ito the swing of writing which also suffered through the holidays.

Thanks for listening.
